I know little about these finds - but we have a man who does on here- coinweight Thumbs Up!

Hi jkxs and all,


This one is another trade weights which can be recognized by the turned up rim.


Please weigh this for us, my guess is that it is for the full ounce.


No London marks here, but if there is a crown visible over the X, then we have Exeter. That 5 petal flower was not known to Norman Biggs (See Lit.: on the other weight ID).


Anyway, before 1826, again ca. 19th century, possibly earlier.


Please bring out your weights, whatever you think they are. We shall be able to say something about every one, I hope.
